Hypnotherapy

 

Hypnotherapy is safe and you are always in control. Generally, clients find it to be a very pleasant and relaxing experience.  Hypnotherapy has had proven success with many issues, in particular:

So what is hypnosis exactly? It is an altered state of awareness where you feel completely relaxed mentally, physically and emotionally. It is similar to daydreaming - you experience deep relaxation, while your mind is still alert to your physical sensations and surroundings.


Hypnotherapists use this altered (or hypnotic) state to facilitate communication between the conscious and subconscious minds. The conscious (analytical) mind enjoys a break, while your subconscious mind is open and receptive to positive commands and suggestions. The result is you are able to make positive changes to thought patterns, habits and overcome fears that negatively impact your life.

1) How many Hypnotherapy sessions will I need?

The number of sessions clients require vary with each individual's needs.

 

2) How long will my session go for?

Sessions run for approximately one hour.

 

3) Can I claim a rebate for my Hypnotherapy session(s)?

Yes.  Depending on which private health insurance and which type of cover you have.  Medicare do not give rebates for Hypnotherapy consultations.

 

4) Can I be hypnotised?

As it is a very natural function of the mind, everyone is suggestible.  Trance states will again vary with each individual.
